Forest Creek Golf Club Announces Partnership with LPGA Professional, Ana Belac

Forest Creek Golf Club announces partnership with LPGA professional, Ana Belac, a Duke University graduate and Symetra Tour Player of the Year.

As a junior golfer in Slovenia, Ana was named Athlete of the Year by the Piran Municipality, and received a bronze medal at the XVIII Mediterranean Games. During her time at Duke, Ana received the 2020 All-American Strength and Conditioning Athlete of the Year award, was a member of the 2019 International Palmer Cup Team, was selected for the 2020 ANNIKA Award Watchlist, and was named 2020 Golfweek and WGCA First Team All-American. Most notably, she led her team to the NCAA Championship in 2019.

Ana graduated from Duke earlier this year with a degree in statistics, and became a rookie on the Symetra Tour. Her first professional win came at the 2020 Carolina Golf Classic played at Pinehurst No. 9 in October. At the season close, Ana was named Symetra Tour Player of the Year and finished first on the 2020 Symetra Tour Money List, securing her LPGA Tour card for 2021.

Ana will be donning the Forest Creek logo on the right sleeve of her apparel this week, as she competes against the world’s best at the U.S. Women’s Open in Houston. In 2021, the Forest Creek logo will be featured on the belly of Ana’s golf bag as she begins her career on the LPGA Tour.

I am honored to join the Forest Creek team. It is especially meaningful to me to partner with a golf club in my home state that supports me and believes in my career potential. Forest Creek is a world-class facility, and I am very much looking forward to all that is to come from this great partnership.
