The South Course

The South Course opened in 1996, patterned after Augusta National, Fazio’s approach was low profile in nature, essentially draping the holes across the land creating an unforced natural appearance. Previously, the South Course was selected by Golf Digest as the third best new course in the country, and Pinehurst Magazine named it the second best golf experience in the Pinehurst area; second only to Pinehurst Course No. 2 based on the votes of area head golf professionals.
